Boasting as the sixth addition to the lineage of stealth frigates crafted under the ambitious aegis of Project 17A at GRSE, INS Vindhyagiri stands as an epitome of innovation and precision. Post the commencement, the vessel shall gracefully join its sibling ships at the outfitting jetty, positioned within GRSE's ambit. Here, it shall embark on the journey of finalizing its diverse operations and undergoing exhaustive equipment trials. Envisioned as the evolutionary iteration of the Project 17 (Shivalik Class) Frigates, the Project 17A Frigates incorporate a plethora of refinements, from advanced concealment attributes to state-of-the-art weaponry and sensors, all underscored by cutting-edge platform management systems.
